Roller Garage Doors
Roller garage doors, available in aluminium or steel, are made up of interlocking laths to make up the door curtain. This flexible contruction allows the door curtain to roll around a barrel above the door when opening, taking up a minimum of space inside the garage. Also, because of their vertical operation they require no space in front or behind the door to open, allowing you to park right up to the door, so are ideal for short driveways or short garages.
Roller doors are ideal for arched or shaped openings, and given sufficient headroom, roller doors open to 100% of the opening height, ideal for today's taller vehicles.
Aluminium Roller Doors
The aluminium laths are filled with dense foam to provide insulation and strength. A compact version features narrower laths, allowing a tighter roll and therefore reducing headroom requirements. Aluminium side guide tracks enclose the ends of the door curtain, providing a solid fixing point for the door and limiting draughts.
Steel Roller Doors
The steel from which the interlocking laths are contructed is very strong and a bottom rail reinforces against intruders. Locking bars also increase security. Operation is light due to the spring assited roller mechanism.
Remote Control
Both aluminium and steel roller garage doors can be automated. Remote control allows the door to be operated by means of a compact hand transmitter or wall mounted control box in the garage.
