A loft space can provide a huge amount of extra storage space and an easily accessible, well boarded loft is a real asset to your home.

If you currently have no acces to your loft space, or your current loft hatch needs enlarging or replacing we can install a new, fully insulated hatch meeting your requirements.

If your existing loft ladder is old, heavy and dangerous, or you have to struggle with step-ladders or bring in a ladder from the garage then we can fit a permanent loft ladder which stows away up in the loft when not required.

Having your loft partially or fully boarded out provides easily accessible storage space ideal for all those items you want to keep but don't have space for in your house, such as Christmas decorations, suitcases, old furniture, boxes of books etc.

Great job done on Garage door replacement

James fitted a new Garage door on my prefabricated Garage which has made my Garage stable and saved the expense of a new Garage, it also looks a lot better than the old one and fitted a new Panel above the door as well, the work was expertly done and James and his nephew where very helpful from when James came to assess the problem, the price was very good and I would strongly recommend AJP for their work, also the after service is very good.

Sun awning

What a great family firm a very easy and uncomplicated installation. From the father measuring advising and giving us the quote to his son James and nephew Lewis fitting the awning. Fast response to an electric door problem

Our double door on the garage stopped working in the up position, A call to James at AJP promised the same day visit to investigate the problem. He arrived, just ad promised, diagnosed the problem and disconnected the motor so that the door could be raised and lowered manually. It was a relief to us to be able to lower the door at night and if we went out. The part arrived a couple of days later and was fitted straight away. We now have a working door. This was a great response from a local company that can be trusted.

Very Happy Customer - Highly recommend

We contacted AJP initially as they were recommended by a local builder who has used their services on a number of occasions. They came out and covered the various options for our garage door. Installation of Garage Door

The installation of my new insulated roller garage door was completed within a few hours on the day that had previously been agreed (at quite short notice but convenient for myself). The work was carried out efficiently and all mess tidied up subsequently. As part of the cost the old door and fittings were removed. James went through the operation of the door along with the security and safety features. I must say that James did a great job of selling the door I'd just had installed. He genuinely appeared to be proud of both the work carried out and quality of the product itself. I have no hesitation in recommending AJP Home Improvement to other people.

AJP fitted a new garage door after old one was damaged, not usable or repairable. James offered good advice on options for a replacement and was not at all pushy or over bearing in what he recommended, listening to what I wanted/needed. Great price and efficient service. AJP Home Improvements Ltd replaced my loft ladder today. They arrived on time, the work was carried out professionally. It was of the highest standard and I am very pleased with the result. The loft ladder is sturdy, and easy for me (a 72 year old lady) to use. It is a small, family business and very friendly and approachable. They gave good advice as to a loft ladder that would suit my purpose. Once installed they explained how to operate it. The price for the work was competitive and fair. I know that as they are local I will receive any aftercare needed, although I am sure none will be needed. I have now asked them to install top up loft insulation for me.
